Chirping in charging system

Hello. I have a 2009 Tahoe Hybrid that has recently started chirping when the engine is running. It is not the idler pulley as I had a horrific chirping in them and recently fixed them. I believe it is coming from the charging system. I have a great mechanic who is trying to do some research on the hybrid charging system to see what the fix is for this. I thought I would ask some of you owners if you have heard anything like this on yours and how it was fixed. Thanks in advance!!

can you take a video of the sound? if it is the crackling sound of electricity like the ones in power plants, it is normal.

if it is like the electric spark sound of the lucas film THX, it should be normal. I do get those sounds and looks cool just proving to bystanders that my hybrid is electric as well:)
