do you guys have a rear fog lamp? any pics? I was looking at my service manual and it shows that there is, an auxiliary control module as well as a wiring for rear fog lamp(s).

Re: canadian and imported GM SUV hybrids
My 08 Tahoe was bought in the UK.
It had to be specially modifed to meet European standards for lighting.
That included the placing of a high intensity rear fog light on the back below the rear bumper on the passenger side. A reversing light is placed below the bumper on the drivers side.
What are normally reversing lights in the US, become the rear turn indicators with yellow bulbs. This is the main difference between US and European regulations, that ALL turn indicators must be in yellow rather than red.
Also side indicators have been placed below the 2-Mode badge on the front wings. Again European regulations require a turn indicator which MUST been seen from the side of the vehicle. The indicators in the door mirrors don't meet that requirement.
This is all done by the dealer to get what is called an SVA certificate before the vehicle can be registered in the UK.
If you would like pics of the installation, let me know.

Re: canadian and imported GM SUV hybrids
I see what you mean.
I have never seen a Tahoe with those hi-intensities. Current Tahoe models are ALL supplied by secondary dealers in Europe as GM in their wisdom refuse to allow them to be sold here under the Chevrolet Brand, through the old Daewoo, now Chevrolet dealer network.
I will drop a note to the local Cadillac dealer here in Athens to try and find out for you.
Here's a picture of the rear of mine, taken about a week ago during a trip to the Peloponnese.

Just to let you know .. that is the main street of the town ..
Right next to it are a string of tavernas ... where you can get some of the best cooked fish in Southern Greece.
