If I get one more good tank my lifetime average will be over 60 MPG.

Now it's at 59.9.

And that is for a HCH CVT, the AT-PZEV model - which has the worst MPG of all Civic Hybrids.

BTW, I was just checking out your tank stats to see how they've swung upwards over time, and I LOVE the additional info you attached on your 7.11.05 tank data post. For love of the game I've been there a couple times myself and it's almost unbearable till you fillerup and see the payoff.

Dang. I'm currently ranked #13 at LT avg of 51.3mpg on the HCH MT list, and my current tank is at 57.9mpg after nearly 500 miles. My previous best tank was 53.7, so I know I'm doing something right recently, but I've obviously got a loooooong way to go :)

I feel at a distinct disadvantage because I didn't learn all these neat tricks and such until I found this site about four months ago. ::sigh::

Doppler, you won't catch me. I am at 51.9 and over my past 10 tanks I am averaging 59.72. Last tank was 63. And, when I changed the oil this weekend, I found my tire pressure had slipped 4 psi all around. So that's fixed. And eventhough my wife drove the car and it read 66.0 miles with 51 mpg, I am now at 240 with 59.8. I should get another 60 mpg tank.

Tire pressure. Gee that's swell.

Congradulations Kenny, I've been tracking your progress as well.
Looks like we're neck to neck.
I don't expect great things from Sparky on my new, current tank as tropical storm Katrina will no doubt trash it all.

Your efforts are REALLY paying off in savings.
Have you ever calculated how much $ you are saving vs... say a 21 MPG car, or a regular Civic driven "normaly" and only getting around 30MPG?
