Maryland adopting California emissions
Yea! A bill just passed in the Maryland General Assembly, and will almost certainly be signed, which will require Maryland to adopt California emissions standards, as 10 other states have done. The bill also lets hybrids have a three year inspection exemption from the date of purchase.
It's a welcome addition of pressure to further develop hybrids, plug-in hybrids, etc. http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/loc...,6526046.story http://www.gazette.net/stories/02210...39_32329.shtml Progress is still possible.... |

The good news is the longer warranty you will get on the batteries and other hybrid components. That is the main thing I would would want.
