My son asked me last night how much gas I had. I told him I had 1/4 tank and that was plenty to last me at least another 2-3 days. He insisted on giving me $5 for gas anyway! Sweet kid.. Must think I still drive a regular car! I bought breakfast for myself with it!

I know what you mean about $5 of gas.

The other day I gave a man who's car had broken down a ride from the country into downtown. He wanted to give me $5 but I politely declined. In my head I knew that $5 in gas would last me several days and it just semed like too much for such a simple gesture.

I tried to decline because he had given $10 that night for lunch. I put 4 gallons in on Monday because I knew that would last me all week. He's good about giving me money when he has it..
