Ev battery charge switch.
 
When I press that secret button to charge the hybrid battery it does not light up and nothing happens. It does not run the eight minute cycle. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot that. My car will not start it’s displaying on the dash stop safely now. The battery is charged and it lights up all the lights on the panel. The wrench light is showing on the panel. 2008 escpape. 130,000 miles

Try putting a charger on the 12v battery and then pressing the button after it charges for a while.
