Questions for ffh owners
 

I just had an interesting experience, shortly after the FFH came out, I drove one as a rental, I frankly did not like it, not so much the car but the fit and finish seemed bad for a brand new car with less than 100 miles on it, rough edges and such.
I received one last week as a rental (about 1200 miles) and LOVED it, so, the qustions are, has there been an overall improvement in finish now that the waiting list is gone?
My other questions are, any problems to date, and does it have a battery a/c like the escape to keep the battery cooler in summer?

I've had My 2010 FFH from June 2009 until present.No Problems ! Great Car and I have achieved on some days depending how I drive 52 MPG on AVG. others 42, 37 on Freeway,etc. Fit and Finish as good as any in its price range and Better than Most.Had 1 recall from Ford for Brake system reprogram.Battery cooling and AC work Great even in triple digit weather. I live along the GulfCoast so weather was concern to me with the BATTERY PACK but to date a non-issue,it uses cabin air for cooling. ( 502A Package )only area that could e improved is Navigation Map Data 2 year old, even with latest maps ,which I have updated twice and Sync.works great,but updates are Far between and probably will not be updated to New Sync Apps ,etc.

I think the fit and finish on my FFH is actually really good. It's much better than that TCH I had.

The rental may have had extensive repair work - doesn't match with our experience. Mine is exceptional and I've had over 100 new vehicles.

Picked my 2011 ffh two weeks ago - fit and finish looks pretty good to me.

I believe 2010 was a remodel year. I test drove some used early 2010 models and I agree, there were issues with fitment and drivability. I just bought a later model 2010 FFH and the difference is substantial. Perfect fitment, quiter than the earlier models, etc.
