Three Escape Hybrids in one parking lot!
 

Running into Blockbuster Video with my son, and saw two other Escape Hybrids...one parked (bright blue), one driving (dark red) and mine. :D
How cool is that? In my little suburban town (north west of LA) pop. 21,000.

Any other multiple sightings in your neck of the woods?

yep, seen more than a few together, as new york city and other ny government agenices have them as part of their fleet.
also there are about a dozen feh's in nyc taxi yellow, picking up fares all over.
also had someone in an feh pull up besides me and park out on eastern lawn guyland.
unfortunately she had 2 toddlers in car seats in the back ....

How's this? It was just a couple weeks ago, I was exploring the area around an apartment I'm looking at (Roosevelt Island, NYC), and I saw these two parked side by side (that's mine on the right), so I had to take a picture. I see FEHs fairly often, mostly city vehicles & taxis, but also a few private ones. What surprised me was that these are both privately owned.

I've been seeing quite a few here in NorCal (SF Bay Area). In fact, a few days after I bought mine I saw another new one (green) in my work parking lot.

Great picture, Randy! Looks like you'd fit right in on Roosevelt Island (did you take the apt?) It gives me hope when I see so many hybrids out on the road. I'd read about the NYC taxi program - haven't been back to the city since it started. Hope other cab companies follow suit.

I should hear back regarding approval for the apt next week. I hope I get it, it's in a green building (The Octagon - a restoration/development of the old lunatic asylum). R.I. even has special hybrid buses for on-island transportation.

Oh, and no relation to Roland.
