Rattle in driver door window
 

Hi all, I have a 2012 Escape Hybrid with 6000 miles on it. In the recent hot weather I have noticed a rattle in the drivers door when the window is down between an inch and half way down. It rattles when I hit a bump. When the window if fully up or down, everything is fine. Any ideas what could cause this? Should I try to get it fixed - or just turn up the radio? I worry that the dealership might only make things worse, and after all it is only a rattle. Thanks for your thoughts.

My 2012 has the same rattle on both driver and passenger door windows when lowered about an inch. I was going to check if a friend's 2012 had the same rattle.
