No REAR REPLACEMENT BLADES

I have looked in 5 stores, and I cannot find a replacement for the rear window wiper blade. The blade is only 10" and the clip to attach it is NOT generic.
( although at first glance, it looks standard, it's not... )
Looks like Ford had a custom, or semi-custom part made for that sucker.

Anyone have good luck finding one on the shelf in a store???

Also, the driver side wiper is 20" and the passenger side wiper is 18".
So don't buy a 2 pack unless you have two cars and want 2 of each!
:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused:

Meier and Napa carry them. 10" and they are made by Trico (whom incidentally makes the blades for Ford in the first place.

Thanks for the heads-up. That will spare me some confusion when I go to buy replacements.

For the fronts, I just bought a pack of 20" replacement rubber inserts and trimmed one down. I figure I can do the same for the rear if need be.

Re: No REAR REPLACEMENT BLADES

I've got Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades on my windshield -- I bought them from TireRack.com, which via it's "What vehicle do you have" dropdown selections led to to order the correct widths for the windsheild blades.

I was hoping to get a Valeo Ultimate blade for the rear window as well, but I never heard back from them about which wiper in their stock they thought might fit the rear of a FEH. I admit I didn't try to hunt further, since the rear blade's fine.

I had replaced the front (windshield) blades early on because I wasn't happy with the coverage and clearing capabilities of the stock windshield wipers, and having purchased the vehicle in March of 2006 we were in prime rainy weather season (for South Texas, anyhow.)

Incidentally, one year ago TODAY, we bought our 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid FWD. Couldn't be happier with it! :)
