Homelink Rearview Mirror

I just noticed that the Ford Accessory catalog, states that the Homelink rearview mirror is not available for the Hybrid.

Is there something "odd" or Hybrid-specific with the factory rearview mirror, such that a replacement can't be used?

I've got it in mine and it works just fine.
