I would just like to share my experience with North Point Ford in North Little Rock, AR. I've had my Escape in twice since I've bought it. First I had a computer that had gone bad, they didn't know why it went bad, but i may have caused it or the previous owner may have caused it. The Service manager Glen gave me the benefit of the doubt and replaced the BCM (battery control module) under warranty. The second time was to have a whistling/whining noise checked out coming from the battery vent system. Glen and another mechanic drove it around until it was warmed up and couldn't hear it till they got me in the car and I pointed it out. They confirmed it was probably just a whistle, and not something going bad, and that if it was it would probably be covered by the hybrid warranty. I figured after having these guys drive my Escape around my MPG would be ruined, but it actually rose .1. Glenn seems to know a lot about the Hybrid, and is happy to work on them. North Point Also seems to be the only dealer in the general area that has experience working on the hybrid. I just figured this would help anyone out that happens to be in the Little Rock are with a reliable dealer service department.
