Changing the Motor and Electronics coolant on an 06 FEH

I had no trouble draining, flushing, and refilling my engine coolant in my 06 FEH with 72k miles (my previous flush was at 33k). I used Zerex G05. I can't find any guidance on changing the motor and electronics coolant.

My intuition is that the motor and electronics coolant doesn't need changing nearly as often since it is not working as hard. Maybe I'll just monitor the chemistry with a hygrometer and deal with it when it becomes an issue.

Anyone have any thoughts, guidance?

IIRC both were good for 5 years or 100,000 miles.
This "gold" fluid is meant to last longer than the older "green" fluid.

But I agree, the M/E side probably has less chance for contamination.

Which means... I'm getting close to due for my first change...
(88,000+ and 4.5 years on mine )

When you change the M/E coolant there is a vent plug on the top & back side of the transaxle unit that should be opened to ensure new coolant gets to the top of the transaxle.
