ABS OUTDOOR_TEMPERATURE -7 c

My 2009 feh has a c1012. Using forscan the dtc freeze frame data shows OUTDOOR_TEMPERATURE -7 c. My pcm ambient air temp shows 27 c.
Where does the abs unit get the temperature reading?
