I used travel to ottawa for business for several years ago, and I can still remember vividly Dec weather up your way.... That canal that flows through the city is used to ice skate to work or walk across. It's beautiful, but boy is it cold by KY standards. :) |

Re: 2007 & 2008 Escape Hybrid "Sourcebook"
I noticed this once before, and now again in the 2007 guide ( which is largely the same as 2005's )
"•eCVT and DC/DC Converter Warranty — These unique hybrid components will be covered for 8 years/100,000 miles in California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont • High-voltage battery warranty coverage is 10 years/ 150,000 miles in California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont (8 years/100,000 miles in all other states)" In 2005, all cars had the eCVT, DC/DC Converter, and High Voltage Battery covered for 8 years/100,000 miles. In 2005, all cars had all 3 items covered for 10yrs/150,000 miles in CA, CT,ME,MA,NJ,NY,RI,VT. Did this really change to cover just the battery? Or is this a typo in the guide? For 2008 it says: "• Under the Unique Component Warranty, Ford provides coverage for 8 years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for the high-voltage battery, electronically controlled continuously variable transmission and the DC/DC converter" Cars sold and registered in one of the 8 "green" states get 10/150,000 on the battery only. |
