New Toyota Hybrid Tour
 

Has anyone heard about this new tour? Looks like their first event will be at the San Jose Auto Show next week. I checked the tour site (toyota.com/highway) for information and it seems to be in pre-launch phase... . The site says this will be a hands-on exhibit where we can learn about hybrid tech., alt. fuels and the evironment. Humm...please post pics if you plan on being at the SJ Auto Show. Thx!

I read about this recently. It looks like Toyota is making an all-out push to get people to see the light about hybrids and alt-fuels. A good thing! Apparently the tour has a lot of high-tech interactive exhibits that show visitors how they can change their habits (not just driving) to improve the environment. You can test drive one of Toyota's hybrids but it seems much more educational-based. Apparently you can even have a tree planted in your name (pretty cool). Of course, it hasn't started yet so I hope anybody up in San Jose who sees it first will post some photos and tell us more about it! Thx
