2021 diesel Tahoe hybrid
 

I'm looking at acquiring a Tahoe that needs a new engine and I wanted to do a hybrid conversion with a diesel generator /range extender or some other hybrid combo that does not require plug-in and retains the main fuel tank.

I want to achieve maximum efficiency and I want diesel.
The choices are due to the long travel distances I'm expecting to make and the availability and price of diesel in my location.

This will be my daily driver and work vehicle until hydrogen vehicles become viable.
